Mr. Allen Murner, 79, of Charlotte passed away peacefully on the morning of October 20, 2015, surrounded by his family at Carolinas Medical Center. Mr. Murner was born on August 9, 1936 in Washington, PA. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Nellie Mae Murner, five brothers, and four sisters. His immediate family includes his wife, Betty Murner of Charlotte; daughters Pamela Murner of Charlotte and Shari Leon (Paul) of Raleigh; sisters Nancy Rush of Palm Bay, FL and Ellen Thompson of Gilbert, Arizona; and grandchildren Connell and Brendan Leon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Mr. Murner's memory to a charity of your choice. -
