Anita Hull McGuirt, passed away on June 13, 2024. Anita was born on June 10, 1945, to her loving parents Howard Hull and Elizabeth Hull.

Anita led a fulfilling life, dedicating almost 32 years of service to BellSouth from 1964 to 1996 before embarking on a new chapter in her retirement. Alongside her husband, she spent many years selling NASCAR racing memorabilia. Later, Anita found joy in helping raise her four grandchildren, creating lasting memories filled with love and laughter.

Known for her gentle and kind-hearted nature, Anita touched the lives of everyone around her. Friends and family alike admired her sweetness and warmth. Her happiest moments were spent playing cards and games with her grandchildren while indulging all the neighborhood dogs with their favorite treats whenever they paid a visit.

Among her proudest accomplishments was the enduring love she shared with her childhood sweetheart and husband, Ronny McGuirt, spanning an impressive 57 years. Together, they raised two daughters - Melissa Hagan and Ronda Dormon.

Anita will be deeply missed by her surviving family: her devoted husband Ronny McGuirt; daughter Melissa Hagan and son-in-law John Hagan;  daughter Ronda Dormon; adored grandchildren Benjamin Hagan, Samuel Hagan, Lindsey Dormon, and Logan Dormon.

Anita wanted to be cremated and her ashes will be reunited one day with Ronnys when he passes and will be spread  together at the beach where many family vacations were spent over a lifetime.

As we mourn the loss of Anita Hull McGuirt, let us remember her fondly for the love she shared so freely and the joy she brought to all who knew her. May her legacy of kindness live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her. No planned public memorial service. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Anitas name to the Charlotte Humane Society.
