Anna Wells was born on December 19, 1961. She spent the first half her life in Iran with her family before moving here and marrying Edward Wells, starting a new family with their children Unique and Maya Wells.
While working as a teacher’s assistant, she went to college and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood education. In 2014 she became a pre-kindergarten teacher at Briarwood Elementary school, and continued her studies to earn a Master’s Degree in the same field. She genuinely loved working with her students and staff members every day. She would often receive gratitude from her students’ parents for all her hard work to teach and reward their children during the school year.
Anna thought endlessly of other people before herself. She wanted for nothing except for her loved ones’ health, which always made gifting difficult. Her obsession with shopping was for her family’s and friends’ benefit, always thinking ahead for presents or things they would need. She loved to travel, take pictures, and be in constant contact with her family members overseas. She loved to cook, party, and watch silly reality TV shows. She was a go-getter and extremely stubborn, and would often end up being an unstoppable force until her goals were complete.
Her life sadly ended on February 4, 2021, after a long fight with esophageal cancer.
Anna Wells was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her loss is felt greatly by her husband, two children, many cousins, nieces, and nephews, coworkers and colleagues, her students and even their families.
We will all cherish her memory.
