A Union County native, her immediate family includes two children, Melissa Rape and her husband, Stephen, and Dennis Wayne Baucom; two brothers, Homer H. Cox, Jr. and Richard Cox; her sister, Katherine Aldridge; seven grandchildren, Whitney Bolick, Shyann Baucom, Devin Baucom, Bayleigh Rape, Jessica Outen, Stephanie Kennington, and Colby Outen and three great grandchildren.
