Betty Jane Warden Worley, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 22, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at Gaskin Funeral Services, 14617 Lawyers Road, Matthews, NC.

She was born February 6, 1933 and was the daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Deena Worrell Warden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, R. D. Worley; sister, Wanda Vandell and brothers, Clarence Warden and Lewin Warden.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Nora Worley and grandson, Russell David Worley and many nieces and nephews.

She was a china painter and made replica antique dolls. There was nothing that she couldn’t do. Betty will be greatly missed.
