Mrs. Carolyn Jefferies, of Indian Trail, NC entered her heavenly home October 14, 2022.
Carolyn was born in Gaffney, SC on February 14, 1931 to the late Roy and Lillian Childers. While her first priority was raising her family, she enjoyed her work in banking and as church secretaries throughout the years. She retired from Wachovia Bank.
Carolyn loved the Lord, her husband Joe and her family with all her heart. Her life was marked by her generosity; she shared what she had with people in need and she was always generous with her time and love. Her sacrificial love for her family and friends will leave a lasting legacy for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carolyn is survived by her children, Steven Hal Jefferies (Pam) of Monroe, NC, Susan Parker of Indian Trail, NC and Jennifer Jefferies (Lynn) of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, TJ Jefferies (Beth) of Sitka, AK, Michael Jefferies of Monroe, Myrick Parker (Jenna), Meredith Odom (Aaron), Micah Joe (Dominique) of Charlotte, Landon Langley-Jefferies, Jason Langley-Jefferies and Mikayla Langley-Jefferies, of Rock Hill. She also has 6 great-grandchildren, Carolina, Elijah, Lena, Brady, Elliott and Luke.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at Hopewell Baptist Church - Legacy Campus, 420 Hopewell Church Rd., Monroe, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church. Interment will follow at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery, 4602 Concord Highway, Monroe NC.
