Carolyn Young, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 19, 2020. She was born July 25, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY. . She is survived by her husband Bruce, two sons Steven (Tracie) Young and Matthew (Laura) Young. Her two grandchildren Brianna and Grayson. She is also leaves behind her sister Alice (Chuck) Meyer.

Carolyn retired last May after 53 years of missionary service with Wycliffe Bible Translators. She and her husband Bruce served faithfully in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, and finally at JAARS in Waxhaw NC
