David "Bud" Wilson

David Loyd "Bud" Wilson, 71, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 24, 2017. A native of Mecklenburg County, Bud was a devoted husband, loving family man, and proud pawpaw. Bud loved the Lord with all his heart and was faithful to support his church, Central Church of God. When not spending time with family, he loved to fish, hunt, and spend time in the garden. His immediate family includes his wife, Nancie Wilson; children, David Wayne Wilson (Angelia), Janice Wilson Davis, Wendi Wilson Warren (Jay), and Kim S. Mahaffey; sisters, Ruby Hailey, Linda Simpson, and Brenda Severt; four grandchildren and one great grandchild. -
