Mr. Fred Layne Helms, Sr., 62, of Marshville, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2011. His immediate family includes his wife, Sandra Darlene Helms; his children, Fred L. Helms, Jr., and Jason Michael Helms; three brothers, Danny, Johnny, and Tim Helms; two sisters, Cathy Courtney and Jill Rorie; three grandchildren.
