George Thomson, 89, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord Sunday morning, November 3, 2013. George was born in Glen Craig, Scotland, and grew up in New Haven, CT. During WWII, he was a navigator in the US Army Air Corps. George was educated at the University of New Haven, and following graduation, he had a rewarding career as an industrial engineer. His immediate family includes his wife of 66 years, Barbara Thomson of Charlotte; their children, George D. Thomson and his wife, Dee Dee, of Colorado Springs, CO, and Lynn Wooten and her husband, David, of Waxhaw; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
