Scott and I celebrate the life of our wonderful Mother, Helen Glaze Suddreth. Mom went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Sunday, May 31, 2020. She was the essence of love and compassion. We couldn’t have asked for a better mother. Her life was long and she was blessed with a loving family, good friends, and compassionate caregivers. Mom and Dad were married almost 70 years before he passed in 2011. Always by his side, she loved him dearly and cared for him throughout the health challenges he faced late in life. Mom joins Dad, Johnny, and Paulette in heaven. As we know, losing those we love leaves a tremendous void in our lives, but God gives us His enduring peace. The death of our brother, John Henry Suddreth Jr., left us heart broken in 2016, and our hearts were broken again this March when our sister, Paulette Suddreth Cofer, passed. Mom leaves a large and loving family behind, and we rejoice in the promise of our faith that one day we will all be together again in Glory. Thank God for the blessing Mom has been to us all.
With love and appreciation,
Scobey and Scott Suddreth
We extend our heartfelt appreciation for Mom’s celebration of life ceremony to Pastor Tyson Coughlin, Vizion Church, Charlotte, NC.
