Helen P. Cray

Helen P. Cray, 90, of Charlotte, joined her Maker in heaven February 11, 2018. Welcoming her there are her parents, John and Gertrude Petrie; her brother, John; husband, James F. Cray; and son, Kevin John Cray. Helen was born July 4, 1927, in Midland, NJ, where she also graduated from local schools. She was a graduate of Barbizon School of Modeling and worked in the fashion field in New York City prior to her marriage. Remembering her is her son, Patrick Cray and his wife, Becky, and grandchildren, Natalie and Corey. A visitation will be held at 1:00PM ,Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Gaskin Funeral Services, 14617 B West Lawyers Rd. Matthews, NC, 28104. A service will follow at 1:30PM. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The Cray family is in the care of Gaskin Funeral Services, Matthews, www.gaskinservices.com.
