She was born March 19,1941 in Manhattan, New York, and was the daughter of the late Fred Tompkinson and Hilda Morehouse Tompkinson. Her immediate family includes her husband, Michael A. Gentile; her daughters, Theresa L. Avallone and Donna Maria Cohen; her brother, Charles Tompkinson; three grandchildren. -
