DAVIDSON - Ms. Jayne Engleka, 62, passed away Saturday June 11, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer.  

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Queen City Apostolic Church, 4530 N Sharon Amity Road, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.

Jayne was born January 25, 1960 in Somerset, PA and was the daughter of the late Paul and Violet Shaffer Romesberg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Wesley.

Jayne’s life was centrally focused on family. As a single mother, she did everything possible to provide for her kids and grandchildren. Jayne was a shining light for countless people. She provided encouragement, guidance, knowledge, and love to so many. She will be greatly missed, and her family will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest. 

Jayne is survived by her son, Josh Engleka ( Rhiannon ); brothers, Jim Romesberg, John Romesberg ( Kathi ), Joe Romesberg ( Cindy ) and Jeff Romesberg ( Diane ); sisters, Joy Lishia and Janice Smith ( Keith ); and 3 grandchildren, Cole Engleka, Violet Engleka and Primrose Engleka.
