**Obituary**

On June 23, 2024, the world lost a truly remarkable soul with the peaceful passing of Jean Crump Vinson at her home. Born on November 7, 1945, Jean touched the lives of all who knew her with her, generosity, and endless love.

Jean's legacy is one deeply intertwined with family. She was a devoted wife to Sonny Vinson for 59 years, a partnership filled with love and cherished memories. Jean now joins her parents Cleatus and Dorothy Crump in eternal peace, along with her sister Beverly Ann Crump and brothers Wayne and Charles Crump.

Surviving Jean are her beloved sister Sheila Swanger, brother Roger Crump, and sister-in-law Sissy Burnette. Her nieces and nephews also mourn her loss but forever hold dear the affectionate moments shared with their aunt.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Jean can attest to her kind spirit that radiated warmth wherever she went. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she was adored by all who crossed her path.

A viewing will be held on June 29, 2024, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Abundant Life Church in Matthews. Following this, a Funeral Service will take place from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. Grave side service will be at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens as family and friends gather to honor the beautiful life of Jean Crump Vinson.

In sadness yet with hearts full of gratitude for having been touched by such a loving soul, we bid farewell to Jean. May her memory live on in the hearts of those she left behind as a beacon of light and love.
