CHARLOTTE - Mrs. Julie Thompson, 59, passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Accordious Health at Mooresville.

Julie graduated from Independence High School in 1980. She loved old classic movies and TV shows. She loved her little Jack Russel, Ozzie and she loved working on word searches. Julie loved all types of music, her style ranging from Old Gospel music to the popular Eagles band.

She was a proud grandma to her precious grandson Liam. Julie was a mother to her beautiful daughter Taylor and son Chris. Julie was a loving wife for twenty years to her husband Robert Zuege. She was a caring daughter to Ray Tripp and her recently deceased mother Karen Tripp. Julie was always the fun loving sister to Kelly and Tori.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 10, 2023 at Central Church, 5301 Sardis Road, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service, at the church.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions, in Julie's honor, be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital ( st.jude.org )
