In 1994, Kevin and Marianne relocated from Houston, TX to Charlotte, NC to start their lives together. The following year, they were married in front of their close friends and family in Gatlingburg, TN. Kevin embarked on a successful career in automotive dent repair, dedicating over thirty years to perfecting his craft. His hard work and dedication culminated in the establishment of his own company, CaseLee LLC, a name that held special significance as it was inspired by his sons, Garrett and Julian.

Kevin's warmth and caring nature were highlighted by his wonderful sense of humor, which brought joy to those around him. Friends and family often found comfort in his presence, as he had an innate ability to make people feel at ease. He loved spending time with his boys, engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking and fishing, as well as sharing his cooking skills to create wonderful meals for those he loved.

Kevin’s proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly his sons, whom he regarded as his greatest achievement. He took immense pride in all they accomplished and the remarkable individuals they continued to grow into.

He leaves behind his wife of 29 years, Marianne; his two sons, Garrett and Julian; his mother, Beverly; his mother-in-law, Tilly van der Pol; his sister, Angela Douglas; and his brother-in-law, Rob van der Pol. He is also remembered fondly by extended family members Matt Douglas, Kim van der Pol and nieces and nephews.

Kevin is preceded in death by his father, Jack , and his father-in-law, Cees van der Pol. His legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to family and friends will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A celebration of Kevin’s life will be announced by his family at a later date.
