Lynda Dobbs Montgomery, 63, of Charlotte, NC, went to be with her family and her Lord on Sunday, April 27, 2014, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joyce Crabtree Dobbs and Robert Lee Dobbs, Sr. and her brother, Robert Lee Dobbs, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Montgomery Kent, and her husband Jim. Her pride and joy were her two grandsons, Griffin and Sawyer Kent. Lynda attended Harding High School. She spent most of her working years in Cash Posting at Carolinas Medical Center, retiring in 2011. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Summit Place at Southpark for the superior care of Lynda during her last weeks and the 3rd floor nurses at Carolinas Medical Center during the last days of her life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Lynda's name to the Humane Society of Charlotte or Independence Hill Baptist Church. -

Service Extra Info A celebration of Lynda's life (and her favorite desserts) will be held in the Family Life Center. The service will be informal and the gathering of friends to greet the family will be simultaneous.
