Margie D. Snead of Pageland, passed peacefully Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Atrium Health Union on Monroe.

She was born November 16, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Jim and Susie Doster. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Marvin Snead and by her son, Darrin Snead.

Margie was an amazing and supportive mother who loved raising her sons and seeing to her family. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved to travel with her husband, visiting friends and going on cruises.

Margie was a devoted longtime member of Wolf Pond Baptist Church. She leaves many loving friends. Her sweet encouraging smile will be dearly missed.
Margie is survived by her son, Marvin C. Snead and wife, Judi of Pageland, SC; and grandchild, Lisa Maguire and husband, Michael of Ruby, SC.

A service celebrating her life will be held 4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Wolf Pond Baptist Church, 78 Wolf Pond Road, Pageland, SC. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
