Mary Catherine Muesing, 91, of Charlotte, NC, passed away on April 22, 2026 at Levine & Dickson Hospice, Aldersgate.

Mrs. Muesing was born on December 13, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter to the late Ferdinand and Wilhelmine Gutwein Sziisz. In addition to her parents Mary was also preceded in death by her beloved husband Ronald Franklin Muesing on December 24, 2024; an infant daughter Suzanne Muesing; and by a brother Karl Sziisz.

She worked for many years for the Public School System in Birmingham, Michigan. She was devout follower of Christ and a dedicated member of Central Church in Charlotte where she was active with the Food Service Ministry. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Ron Muesing and Loree Muesing; 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Charlotte where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved late husband Ronald. Memorial service will be at 2 pm on Tuesday April 28, 2026 at Central Church in Charlotte.
