Matthew Quinn Hedrick

Matthew Quinn Hedrick, 29, of Concord NC, died Tuesday December 20th, 2016, after fighting a courageous five year battle with Epilepsy. He was born on December 25th, 1986, in San Jose, California to Andy & Marie Hedrick. The family moved to Charlotte NC when he was 2 ½ years old. Many of his friends will remember him from Rama Road Elementary, McClintock Middle School, East Mecklenburg High School and Central Cabarrus High School. Matthew and his wife, Jennifer, spent 10 wonderful years together as a couple. They were married October, 27th 2014. His love for the San Francisco 49ers and NASCAR's Jimmie Johnson was rivaled only by his love for Jennifer. Matthew captured the heart of everyone he met with his infectious smile and warm heart. He cared deeply for people and had never met a stranger. He loved spending time at home with his wife and mastering Wii Golf. He also loved playing with his nieces and nephews and going to the mountains to spend time with his lifelong best friend, Benjamin Taylor Dayton. Matthew is survived by his wife Jennifer Nichole Hedrick, beloved dog Noah Quinn, Parents Andy & Marie Hedrick; sister & brother-in-law Alan & Tera DiDio, brother & sister-in-law Tim & Melissa Gremore, brother & sister-in-law Bryan & Sarah Hedrick, sister Katherine Keady, brother Daniel Keady, mother and father-in-law Deborah and John Petty, brother-n-law Mark Petty; nephews Nathan Gremore & Evan DiDio, Jarren, Levi & Noah Dayton, Daniel Jr. and Jonathan Keady, nieces Alanna DiDio, Kierra Keady, Vivian Horblak; maternal grandfather Eugene Skora.
