[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]CHARLOTTE, NC - Mr. Matthew Ryan Daggett, 42, passed away from covid related complications. Matthew was born January 15, 1979 in Mecklenburg County and was the son of the late Benjamin Tillman Daggett and Kathleen Matson of Charlotte. He was a graduate of West Charlotte High School and was a member of Carmel Baptist Church where he sang in the choir and was active in the Joy Ministry and other activities at the church. He served in his community by taking part in several mental health associations and never met a stranger. He very much enjoyed bowling and, most of all, loved the Lord. In addition to his mother, Matthew is survived by his sister, Shannon Harvell and nephew, Kenan Harvell of Matthews, NC; aunt and uncles, Georgia Johnson and husband, Gary of Matthews, NC and Charlotte Bauguess and husband, Richard of Huntersville, NC; and a number of cousins.
