Mendell "Craig" Mode, 74 entered into the arms of Jesus on October 24, 2020.  Craig graduated from Garringer High School and served in the United States Navy for 4 years.  He worked for the Charlotte Fire Department, H & S Lumber and Queen City Guaranteed Supply Company.  

Preceded in death by is parents, Walter and Lula Mode; sisters, Peggy Gettis, Katherine Smith and Crystal Knight and brother Kenneth Mode.  Survived by his son, Joshua Mode of Norwood, one grandchild, one sister, Linda Fritz of MS along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
