MATTHEWS - Mr. Michael Lynn Hammer, 63, passed away Monday, March 14, 2022 at Atrium Health Union. 

Mr. Hammer was born November 17, 1958 in Charlotte, NC and was the son of the late William and Jewell Hammer.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved spending time with family, especially his nieces and nephews, who were very dear to him.

Michael is survived by his sisters, Sandra Hammer Mullis (Duane), Kim Hammer Bowers (Bruce) and Joy Hammer Lowery (Jeff); as well as nine neices and nephews and six great neices and nephews.

A celebration of Mike's life is planned for April 2, 2022 at 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Southwood Condominiums Clubhouse in Charlotte.
