Miriam Gabriela Prestia

Miriam Gabriela Prestia of Indian Trail, North Carolina, passed away on January 7, 2018. She was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina on July 16, 1958. Miriam immigrated to the United States at the age of 5 with her family, where they lived in New Jersey. In 1999, she moved to Charlotte to be close to her niece and nephew. Miriam was an avid world traveler, a beach lover, and crazy about her niece, nephew, and all their children. She cared for her mother for the past 3 years. Her family will miss her dearly but she is now reunited with her father, Antonio Prestia, in heaven. She is survived by her mother Ana Prestia, her sister Liliana Salas and her husband Richard Salas, her nephew Anthony Salas and his wife Erin Salas, her niece Annika Jackson and her husband Richard Jackson, and her great grand nieces and nephews, Francesca, Anna Leone, Brick, Lincoln, Gianna, Willow, Caris, Harry, Richard, and Aliayha. A service of remembrance will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Mill Grove United Methodist Church chapel, 7311 Mill Grove Rd., Indian Trail, NC 28079.
