Rachel Blanton Morrow, 78, of Charlotte, went to be with the Lord Friday morning, August 2, 2013, while at home. She was surrounded by her caring family. Born in Forest City, North Carolina, April 22, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Clyde McCoy Blanton and Lovady Mace Blanton. She will be remembered by those in the school system as a cafeteria manager in the public school system prior to her retirement. Her immediate family includes her loving husband of 63 years, Herman Morrow; seven children, O'Neal Morrow and his wife, Faye, Alane Mosley and her husband, Edward, Roger Morrow and his wife, Leslie, Shirley Thomas, Teresa Clary and her husband, Aaron, Craig Morrow and his wife, Elizabeth, and Glenn Morrow and his wife, Katelyn; her sister, Jeanette Harris and her husband, Donald; eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great, great grandchildren. -
