Ralph "Randy" Wayne Foulks Jr. was born on July 16, 1966, in Garden City, Michigan, and he passed away peacefully on May 3, 2025, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Randy's life was a testament to love, laughter, and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
For over 20 years, Randy devoted himself to Trane Technologies as a Warehouse Lead, where he fostered a work environment built on the principles of hard-work, fun, and camaraderie. He firmly believed in the importance of his work family, often expressing, "Why retire when you can enjoy seeing work family every day?" His commitment not only to excellence but also to creating a culture of joy resonated deeply with all who called Trane their workplace.
Randy's most profound legacy is perhaps found in the unwavering love he shared with his wife, Jackie. Their love story was like no other—one filled with mutual admiration and gratitude. Randy often remarked to friends how he felt lucky that Jackie had chosen him, as he believed she could have had anyone. Conversely, Jackie would reflect on the blessing of having Randy in her life, stating that God chose the perfect partner for her to navigate the beautiful journey of life together. They were a couple defined by joy, sharing countless adventures that included traveling, RVing, and creating cherished memories. Their marriage was a harmonious blend of love that reminded those around them of the true essence of a partnership—loving one another until the end.
A son and a brother, Randy also had a heart devoted to family beyond measure. His parents, Ralph Wayne Foulks Sr. and Betty Curtis Foulks, along with his brother Lane and sister-in-law Amy, and their children, Alex, Ward, and Lillian, sister Allison and brother-in-law Chris with their daughter Nadya Levinsky knew him as a pillar of strength. He welcomed all family members with open arms, and his spirit resonated through the lives of his expansive Curtis/Foulks family, who all held him dear.
Randy was remembered for his infectious laughter and his signature Randyisms, phrases he would share to lighten the moment—expressions like "Aww Lawd," "Damnit Bobby," and "Here's Trouble" became staples among those who knew him. He had a remarkable ability to brighten even the hardest of days, always ready to lend a hand to a friend, stranger, coworker, or family alike. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, which made him someone everyone wished to call a friend.
Outside of work and family, Randy found joy in a myriad of interests. He loved glamping, cheering enthusiastically at NASCAR events, and supporting the Panthers. Randy's adventurous spirit shone brightest during cruises and travels, as well as during any gathering with his beloved family and friends.
While Randy is survived by a loving community that includes Jackie his wife, his parents, brother, sister-in-law, sister, brother-in-law, nieces, nephew and a host of cherished friends such as Brian Simpson, Michael Calabrese, Giovanni and Beth Gilland, David and Natasha Eudy, Troy and Tonia Sacco, Bobby and Kimberly Price, Frank and Aniah Bey-Coxx, he will be profoundly missed by all who encountered his warmth and spirit.
Randy's legacy lives on in the hearts of many and serves as a reminder of the profound power of love, laughter, and living life to the fullest. As we remember him, let us carry forward his lessons of joy, devotion, and the importance of close-knit relationships, ever celebrating the remarkable life he led.
