Obituary
MINT HILL - Mr. Ricky Barton Brown, Sr., 68, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Gaskin Funeral Services, 14617 Lawyers Road, Matthews, NC.
Rick was born May 23, 1954 in Mecklenburg County and was the son of the late Delmas Colston Brown and Edith Taylor Brown of Matthews. He was the operator and co-founder of Brown Brothers Tire and Auto in Charlotte.
In addition to his mother, Rick is survived by 4 children; 2 brothers; 7 grandchildren and his beloved dog, Bennie.
