Sandra “Misti” Michele Mullis, 46, of Monroe, North Carolina passed away on Thursday January 6, 2022. She is survived by her parents Jeffrey Duane and Sandra Hammer Mullis; siblings Jeff Mullis (Ann) and Ashley Larysz (Bart); nephews Bayden Hill, Julian and Ashton Larysz.

Misti was the the type of person who loved to take care of others. She was always checking in with her family and friends to see how they were. She was truly a selfless person and poured herself into others. She loved being outdoors, fishing, playing sports, and being surrounded by people. She had a special love for dogs. She was heavily decorated in medals from the Special Olympics, competing in events such as bocce ball and bowling. If she wasn’t with her family, she was spending her days with the girls, at Camden; Mary, Brandy, Tammy, Katie, Lynn, and Karen. Misti’s bright smile and laughter was contagious. She was always the happiest person in the room and wanted everyone else to feel the same.

Misti is preceded in death by her grandparents; Wilburn and Velma Mullis; Sonny and Jewel Hammer.
