Sharon Rowland Black, 65, of Matthews, went to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday afternoon, March 20, 2013. She is preceded in death by her father, Arthur L. Rowland and sister, Vera Stone. Her immediate family includes her husband, Gil E. Black; her children, Wayne Black and his wife, Tonya, Donnie Black and his wife, Cindy, and Suzanne Cline and her husband, John; her mother, Viola Rowland; three sisters, Donna Spencer, Sandy Riddle, Janice Ungethiem; her brother, Kevin Rowland; and eight grandchildren, Chris, Emily, Grace, Colton, Rayanna, Mary, Elizabeth, and John.
