Sharon Lee Robinson, third eldest of eight . Daughter of Marie Sullivan Twitty and Robert Twitty Sr was born December 31, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior in her late 20s and her Christian journey began at St. Philip's Baptist Church in Staten Island NY. There she served faithfully in the choir, as a Baptist Training Union (BTU) teacher and publications ministry. Sharon was very active in the Staten Island Mass Choir where she served as chaplain. She also hosted weekly Bible studies in her home. The Lord then led Sharon to Brooklyn Tabernacle where she served as a member of the Prayer Band Ministry and as a volunteer teacher in the adult GED program. Sharon worked for the NYC Board of Education where she was the Executive Administrative Assistant for PS 188 in District 1. After 30 years of being a light at her work place, she retired successfully. It was during these years that Sharon decided to relocate to Charlotte to be closer to her daughter and granddaughter. Central Church of God became her final church home where she once again connected with the prayer ministry, and volunteered at the Billy Graham Library. Sharon's heart was about sowing into people's lives and giving all she had to bring glory and honor to the Kingdom of God. Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Venessa Maxwell (Matthew), Terrell Robinson, and Purcell Robinson (Samone), the father of her children, John H. Robinson, and her only grandchild, Alexis Robinson. Including a host of family, friends, and fellow laborers. We give thanks to God for his Son, Jesus who took our sins upon Himself so that we may have access to eternal life. THE FAMILY - -
