Frank Shelton Davis, 69, of Monroe, passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012. Shelton, a native of Union County, was the son of the late Frank Davis and Fannie Mae Ponds Davis. He will be remembered for his skill as a master carpenter, avid lover of fishing, hunting, and as a faithful member of Love Baptist Church. His immediate family includes his wife, Ona Davis, of the home; his children, Tammy Cable (Dennis) of Kannapolis, Johnny Frank Davis (Alta) of Anson County, Ricky James Davis (Christie) of Kannapolis, Sheila Busha of Lenoir, Wendy Griffin of Monroe; two step-children, Annette Tarlton and Michael Rushing, both of Monroe; two sisters, Luenell Johnson (Carl) and Brenda Helms (Craig), all of Marshville; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. -
