Shirley Jean Robinson Shuford, 83, of Charlotte, passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Denton R. Robinson and Beulah Bass Robinson; brothers, Charles Robinson, and Paul Robinson of Charlotte, and Buddy Robinson of Lake Norman; and sisters, Ruth Allred of Charlotte, and Naomi Thomas of Asheboro. Survivors include her former husband, Tommy Shuford, of Charlotte; brother, Phillip Robinson, of Charlotte; sister, Rachel Herron of Calhoun, GA; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at East Belmont Church of God. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Danny Peterson officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn West Cemetery. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Hospice and Palliative Care - Charlotte Region.
