Shirley Rae Brizell, 66, of Indian Trail, passed away Monday morning, June 10, 2013. Shirley was born in Tazewell County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Edgar Allen Rutherford and Edna Irene Williams Rutherford. She was a loving wife, mother, and proud Grandma. Survivors include her husband, Roy Brizell; two sons, David (Dave) Brizell and his wife, Rachel, and Daniel (Dan) Brizell and his wife, Janet; two sisters, Gail Rutherford and Emma Cancel; six grandchildren, Caitlin, Joshua, and Jacob Brizell, Matthew Burton, Holly and Luke Opperman. -
