Stanley Gordon "Southern Man" Goode, Jr., 57, formerly of Charlotte, but now residing in Monroe, passed away August 23, 2014. He was born in Charlotte and after attending Independence High School served in the U.S. Navy. Stan loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans. He was a very spiritual and tender-hearted person and had a real love for good southern rock music. His family includes his wife, Kaiya Goode; his son, Matthew Bryant Mitzel, and his brother, Jeffery Newton (Shelly). -
