Thomas Edward Helms (Boomer), 63, of Marshville (New Salem) NC, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 25th, 2023. He was born in Union Co on December 18th, 1960. He attended Piedmont High School in Monroe, NC. His career was masonry. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Thomas Helms (Boone), his mother, Betty Ruth Helms, two brothers, Ronnie Eugene Helms and Gene Ormand Helms. He is survived by two sisters Linda Austin (Hal), Karen Williams (Eric) and one brother Daniel A . Helms (Bonnie), numerous nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

The Graveside service for Thomas has been Postponed to a later date, due to family illness.
