Winston Hewlett Smith, 94, of Waxhaw, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday evening, October 23, 2012. Born in Bethpage, New York, he was the son of the late George H. Smith and Gussie Mott Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bertha Smith. Mr. Smith's immediate family includes his daughter, Sheri S. Reeve, and her husband, Walter; five grandchildren, Wally Reeve, Charlotte R. Aikens, Joshua Reeve, Brandon Smith, and Ashleigh McCollum; six great grandchildren. -
